After our visit to the gyne, Deluxe and myself went over to Eastmore cafe and had our breakfast there. Eastmore Cafe have been one of our regular place to eat for breakfast normally after church. So what we normally order was from this guy on the left, who is famous for his Fried Kueh Tiaw with Clams. Anyway, apparently his son is currently helping him to bring the food to the customers and collecting money. Well, this is may be considered child labor in certain country. But I guess it’s not a problem here in Malaysia. Considering the fact that we were thought to help out with our parents when we are able such us during school holidays or weekend when we are not schooling. What I’m amaze about this boy is that he has what you call the perfect service. In terms of good communication with the customers, and good work ethics. And he doesn’t seem to complain eating from his own father shop, whereby there might be some children may like to eat something different. When we were about to leave as well, while he was eating he did acknowledge and thanking us for purchasing from him.
Anyway, Deluxe had porridge while I had beef murtabak. It cost about RM4 for a plate of murtabak. Apparently price had increase lately, so everything needs to go up. Anyway, it was pretty filling for this. They actually used corn beef as it’s filling with a few slices of onions as well. But this is a very nice food one should enjoy either with curry or dhall. A must try for those who never had the chance of eating this excellent food. Oh yeah, the owner of this shop can speak mandrin, which we were pretty shocked when he came up and told us about the food and the price. Was pretty funny as well, reminded me of the scene where Deluxe told me when she went and tapao something for tea yesterday. Apparently the owner was watching a Tamil movie but it was dubbed in Mandrin. So basically it was a funny scene to see. So it’s all good!
You can get all sorts of various food here from Eastmore Cafe. You can have Popiah, Laksa, Kolo Mee, Fishball Soup, as well as fried stuff such as from above. And the food here is not too bad. A nice place to get yourself filled up before starting your day. But the only problem you might encounter here is the parking problem. Because there are also other commercial industry going on around here. But at least the good news is that you don’t have to pay for parking. Anyway, that’s pretty much about it. Though we didn’t eat the fried kueh tiaw there, but we managed to tapao and bring it back to the shop for lunch. Hehe.. Ok. Happy eating!
